After deciding he wanted to run his own business, Jim Shimansky opened his first gas station on March 6, 1967. After the gas crises of the 1970's Jim decided to get out of the gas business and open a shop dedicated solely to auto repair. Jim's son Rob had a love for cars at an early age and joined the business part time sweeping up in 1982 at 10 years old and now as the second generation owner is pleased to bring you the same great service that his dad offered. At their current location since 1980 with Jimmy Wiggins working with them since that time, Jim, Rob and Jimmy have serviced the cars of three generations of many families.

Rob grew up dirty hanging around his father's garages challenging his mother's washing machine to nightly cleaning contests. As a kid he was facinated with taking things apart and putting them back together with a new look. No bicycle or radio-flyer wagon was safe from a total rebuild until his father let him have his first customer donated car at 14, which he then fixed, cleaned and turned for a quick profit. Rob's favorite days are when they have a muscle car in for repair.
Jimmy is a neighborhood guy who grew up living and breathing cars. The eclectic collection of cars that he owned over the years would impress any true enthusiast. Anyone in the area who has owned and restored a classic car knows the last stop in the restoration process is a perfect Wheel Alignment from Jimmy.
